I have recently planted a young peach tree and have noticed holes in the leaves.  What is this?

There are many things that can cause leaves. In order to identify the pest causing the holes, I would need to know more about the size, shape and location on the leaves of the holes.

That being said, it is likely being caused by an insect pest, so a general pesticide should help clear it up. I personally like neem oil as it is organic and safe for beneficial bugs, people and animals.
