Zone Mille Isles, Quebec J0R 1A0 | becscies@icloud.com added on October 24, 2024 | Answered

The burm is now covered with compost and soil and I wonder if it is better to plant the seeds now or wait until the spring to plant?

This depends on the mix. Most seed mixes will give instructions on what type they are and when to plant them. Generally, though, you can plant them in fall or spring. If the weather is excessively cold in your area, then I would wait until early spring before the warm season.
