I have just received some Lampranthus seed. Will it germinate if planted now?

I want to sow it now but my book says spring. Will it germinate if planted now?

Usually, you will want to follow the guidelines. Planting outside of those guidelines will yield less-than-desirable results, or dead plants.

I would be on the safe side, and germinate them when it says on the package to give it the best chance possible.
