Hibiscus Plants

Q.I have just brought my hibiscus inside. it is leggy (five or six long branches). Should I prune it and if so how and when?

Plant is relatively young. Main branch less than 1/2 inch diameter.

Though it is recommended to prune your plant regularly and on a schedule, I recommend giving it a clean up when you bring indoors for winter. Use proper pruning techniques and do not over prune. See the articles below.
