Q.I have hardy kiwi and Concord grapes that are both growing in pots. Should I plant these in the ground now, or wait until spring?

The hardy kiwi were live plants that came in the mail, the Concord grapes were started from bare root cuttings. They have both been growing for one season since this spring.

If you still have about six weeks before the first freeze, it should be OK to plant them now. If not, I would overwinter them in the basement or garage where it is above freezing and water lightly thru the winter. Then plant out when all danger of frost has passed.
