Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have found potato plants growing when clearing a part of my garden. I did not plant them and have no idea how they got there. The potatoes are a medium size and well formed. Someone told me that you cannot eat them and will upset your stomach.
Is this true?
With thanks for your advice.

All potatoes need to be cooked to be eaten; do not consume them raw.
