Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comcover it in a fly screen to keep fruit flies out as well. I’m not sure if I have a Black Jack or a Brown Turk. Will the fly screen affect pollination from wasp or bees or is it a variety that doesn’t need that ?

Common garden figs are self pollinating and include Black Jack and Brown Turkey. Therefore your fine screen should work.
