I have broken off parts from cactus — can I root and plant them?

I know very little about cactus. I’m hoping I can root them, plant them? I’ve had them about 5 days.
Can they be saved???

Yes. Let the cuttings callous over for a few days, then insert in a pot with cactus potting mix to root. Your picture looks like succulents, and they should be allowed to callous over, too, before potting. After a week, mist the soil. Then when it roots, continue usual watering.
