I have been told I have a lucky bamboo plant which isn’t doing well. What can I to keep it from dieing?

I have had it along time. It was leaning so I put a stake to hold it up. I decided to move the pot of 3 plants. When I did it fell over when I tried to pick it up the brown stock didn’t have any substance other a few brown stems. The top of the plant has the most beautiful green leaves. Can I save it?
