Orchid Trees

Q.I have an orchid tree thats 4 yrs old and never grew.

I bought an orchid tree from a lady selling small trees off a road. Not a nursery. However, the tree was 3 free tall and has remained the same height. No growth, no flowers, no changes nothing its alive and grows new leaves every season but that all. What should i do???

A trip to your local extension office is in order. You can take a soil sample with you as well as a few of those brown leaves.
Are you watering freely in the summer and cutting back in winter? Do you fertilize monthly? Also, I would widen the soil ring under the tree to avoid mowing or weedeating injury or yard chemical injury. Then mulch it well. Here are more cultural items to check:
