Q.I have an orchid cactus that just bloomed

Zone Mt Shasta CA | Kathe W. added on June 5, 2014 | Answered

It never had bloomed before and now that the blossoms are finished, do I trim off that blossom and stem? It lives inside year round- in a very sunny spot.

Congratulations! Not easy to get them to bloom indoors. Yes, after the bloom is spent, you can cut it and the stem off. Here's an article that might contain some new information for you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/cacti-succulents/fishbone-cactus/orchid-cactus-care.htm
