Q.I Have A Very Large Yew Tree Which Is Constantly Shedding Thousands Of Brown Needles. Should I Cut It Down?
We have been in the house for 30 years and the tree was well established before we came. Its becoming the bane of my life covering a large area of the garden with dead needleswhich then get trodden into the house. This year is the worst ever. Is it beyond saving?

If it is more than 30 years old, you may want to replace it with something new. There is something going on with it to drop that many brown needles. Have you checked it for pests or disease? Here are some articles that should help:
