Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comthis safe? I’m wondering if the root system is deep enough to where I don’t need to worry, or should I consider cutting it down. I’d love to keep it up if it’s safe, but it’s only a few feet from my house and I would say close to 50 feet tall at this point. Help!

You will need to contact your local extension service or an arborist. Trees are never safe planted within a few feet of a house, as they cause structural damage, damage to pipes and septic, and can destroy foundations.
