Q.perennial that looks just like celery

Zone Southern Ontario Canada | gwynn.bedford added on July 23, 2015 | Answered

I have a tall perennial that looks just like celery, though it does not spread but gets slowly bigger. Can it be used in tomato drinks as a straw? The stalks are larger, like real celery.

I think your referring to Lovage.

Here is a link about this perennial herb. It is edible and the stems would make a great stir stick in a Bloody Mary!
