I Have A Red Bud That Has A Small Red Bud ‘sucker’ Adjacent To The 10 Inch Trunk. I Am Not Sure Id I Can Dig It Out To Replant

elsewhere or if I should trim it back down to the ground. It does look healthy and is budding out at this time As?‍✈️

Generally, tree suckers are removed and discarded. Unless the tree is native, it won't look exactly like the parent.
