Q.I Have A Raised Bed With 2 Roses Each End, A Rambler And Standard.

Can I add tomatoes & beans vertically and some veg to the bed it’s 9ft long , but only 1 + 1/2 ft wide or would I need to dig up the roses and find somewhere else for them ? I really want to start growing veg in there! Thank you
