Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have enjoyed the potulaca plants and they have done beautifully outside. When I got my four plants this past summer, I left them in their pots having drainage holes and making somewhat of a hole to set the pots in so they wouldn’t blow away. Is it possible to bring them in those pots and winter them so I can again put them out in the spring? I would love to save them if at all possible. I live in Southeast Iowa just north of Burlington. I have a Sun room with windows on all sides but the south . My plants generally do well when I keep it cool in there with the registers closed. I appreciate your advice. Mary Massner

Yes, they should do fine in your sunroom. They will take less water indoors than they did outside. They also will reseed so normally when people plant them in the ground, the next year they come back from seed that dropped the previous fall.
