Q.I Have A Planted Frangipani And It Seems To Be Dying Because Of Some Kind Of Vine.
We’ve just move into a new house. The garden is small, and has lots of potential, including this large Frangipani. Initially I thought it was just neglected, but whole garden has this vine going through it. At first I thought it was what we in South Africa call ‘Cat’s Claw’ (Uncaria tomentosa). Once that gets into a garden, it’s a nightmare to get rid of, and it lacks the claw-shaped thorns. Otherwise, it’s very similar. Also, the Frangipani is very dry, with pieces breaking off very easily. I’d love to know if it’s just a case of the Frangipani needing more water, or whether I need to take more drastic action about that vine (2 pics attached). Thanks so much!

Definitely remove the vine from the frangipani. It can be blocking sunlight, taking all the nutrients, or even strangling the plumeria. You can cut the vine off where it comes from the ground then treat the remaining growth with an herbicide to kill it. Here is more on plumeria care:
