Q.I Have A Phalaenopsis Orchid Which Is Doing Well. Should I Transplant And Repot?

Zone 19962 | Anonymous added on December 21, 2024 | Answered

I have provided pictures of the phalaenopsis orchid. Should I trim off the large top branch where nothing is growing? Any suggestions/guidance would be helpful.  Thank you. Mona D. Boyer

Yes, you can trim off the stem that is not producing. Wait till there are no buds or blooms on the plant to repot. These articles should help:
