I have a orange tree

I have a orange tree that produced a lot of fruit but all the fruit turns black at the stem which goes thru the fruit and spoils it. Even if I pick the fruit will it is half ripe it still turns brown at the stem. Bottom line, I had a lot of fruit but none eatable. Can this problem be addressed or should I get rid of the tree?

This appears to be what is called Citrus Tree Brown Rot. There are several things you can do to remedy this. I have a method that works well for me, and I use it as a broad spectrum disease control. It also keeps insects away. Now I have made this to be stronger than it needs to be so if you don’t have every ingredient, then it won’t make such a big difference. I do recommend NOT skipping the soil priming, as this can kill off any remaining infection in the soil. The recipe is as follows:

irst, you will want to prime the soil with dolomitic lime, then spread wettable sulfur to Kill off any infection in the soil. I Also like to spray the plant itself. Mix a few drops of one or more of these ingredients into warm water with a spoonful of coconut oil: Rosemary oil, lavender oil, neem oil, garlic oil, cinnamon extract/oil and for really bad cases, also add clove oil.
