Q.I Have A New Bloodgood Maple. The Weather Got Hot While I Was Away And Leaves Are Dry & Shriveled. Help!!

It was watered when planted and watered once after that. They told me to “water all summer” but not how often. It got hot (90) a couple days while I was away and I came back to dry, shriveled leaves. I have been watering it, but l’ve read not to water too much. How can I save it? Thank you! By the way I live near Portland Oregon.

If the leaves are scorched they may fall off, but should regrow if the roots were not affected by the absence of water. This article below gives watering instructions:
