Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comafternoons. The plant was doing very well for about a year and now suddenly the leaves are getting black spots and rotting on the plant. I’ve cut these leaves off but it just seems to be travelling down the entire plant. Could somebody please give me some advise on saving this plant or should I cut my losses and get rid of it? Included is a picture of the leaves

You may have some stem rot or root rot going on. If you want to try to save it, quickly replant it in fresh soil and a clean container. Examine the roots and cut off any that are dark and/or mushy. Here is more:
