Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a mature Pine tree that is possibly showing slight root heaving. Can I weigh that side down, maybe with a concrete slab? The tree is very healthy. It is about 50 ft tall, spruce, acid soil, open site.

This article discusses exposed tree roots with the unfortunate news that there isn’t much you can do. If the tree is really in danger of falling over, it will have to be removed.
