Maple Trees

Q.I have a maple tree where some of the leaves are a classic shape and some are like a Japanese maple.

They both look like Japanese maples and probably one or the other started as a sucker below the rootstalk. You might need to examine it closely and see which branches are coming out below the rootstock and remove them. (I like the more dissected one myself!)
