Q.male and female kiwis

Anonymous added on August 20, 2015 | Answered

I have two kiwi plants male and female planted 16 feet apart about two months ago. Been watering and in regular full sun. The male leaves are wilting and turning brown with spots. The female has a few spots but looks better. What am I not doing or doing wrong? I live in north Alabama. Thank you.

Young Kiwi vines will need some protection from the hot sunshine until they are well established.
A shade cloth will help them.

Use Neem Oil as it works as both an insecticide and fungicide to help prevent issues with the stressed plants.
