Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIt’s still green, but where the fern leaves die, they just crumble all over and they leave these sharp, dead sticks all throughout the center mostly. Do I cut these down to the soil? Pulling them out will not work.

I assume this is indoors. Humidity can be an issue for ferns indoors. Misting can help and even placing a room humidifier near the plant will provide the moisture it needs.
You can clean all the dead leaves and stems from the plant.
