There are a few, common, reasons that your shrub is not flowering, actually! The most common is the type of Hydrangea that you have. Sometimes, they are not the correct type for the zone.

Another reason is pruning at the incorrect time. It is important to know which type that you have, in order to prune at the correct time.

Last, feeding issues can be an issue. You will want to test your soil to ensure that there is enough phosphorus and potassium to sustain flowering.
