gardenia plant indoors

Zone Flint, MI 48503 | DianeAlderson added on January 29, 2016 | Answered

I have a gardenia plant indoors in Michigan. My mother had a beautiful gardenia OUTSIDE in the MI winter and I just brought it into my house - It is still alive and green. I am wondering if I need to trim the areas where the blooms are. Also, I am planning on moving it outside to my porch in the humid summer and I am hoping this will be good for the plant. It is beautiful and I don't want to murder it.
