Dying Hibiscus Tree

Within a couple of weeks, my tree has lost its leaves and is now pretty bare. It is growing in a container inside of an atrium. Please help!!

There are several reasons this could be happening. Watering is the most common. I would check to make sure that the soil stays moist but the plant is not in standing water.

If you find that it is in standing water, it may have developed root rot. This article can help with that:

It may also be a pest or fungus affecting the plant. Treat it with a fungicide and pesticide. I personally like neem oil as it is both a fungicide and a pesticide and is safe for people and animals.
