Q.I Have A Dinner Plate Dahlia It Is Bloom. Is There A Way To Extract Seeds From Flowers?
Answer was deleted in error by this dummy. Please give answer again. My dinner plate dahlia is in bloom at this time. Please help. Dahlias are very expensive and I am retired on SSI.

First, the flower must be pollinated. Then the flower withers up, leaving a swollen ovary. Once the seeds inside are ripe enough to be planted, the seed pod will crack or start opening. Seeds can be collected at this time.
