Crepe Myrtle Does Not Bloom

I have a crepe myrtle that does not bloom. Additionally, the leaves turn red around the margins when new, eventually turning completely red on the oldest leaves. A few of the leaves eventually curl or turn brown and dry one the edges.

It sounds like it may have a nutrient deficiency. If you have not fertilized it recently, you should go ahead and do this. It may also be helpful to increase water to the tree for the next few weeks.
