xt year? My plant is in a planter should i store it in the winter or leave on my front porch. I live outside of Lexington, NC th anks Karen I have a 6 year old Toad Lilly plant. If I take the pods after the flower has died,can I plant those pods and get more flowers next year?

If those pods contain dark viable seeds, then yes! If they do not, then you won't be able to plant them.

As for their cold tolerance... They are quite tolerant and suited for your area. Just cut down on watering once they die to the ground. They will sprout back up in the Spring.
