Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’ve had them all for 4 years. Two of them are 5 years old, and the other is 9 years old. My sister gave me the older one, which had fantastic fragrance when it was growing in her garden. But it has no fragrance at all here in my garden. All of them are growing vigorously and bloom profusely each year, so is my soil missing something the honeysuckle needs to produce fragrance?

Lonicera sempervirens is typically non-fragrant so I'm not sure why your sister's had a scent. Perhaps she had another variety of honeysuckle nearby. They are particularly attractive to hummingbirds and bloom most of the summer.
