Q.I Had To Bring My Lemon Tree Inside Due To Hurricane And Winds Up To 75mph, Once I Brought Back Outside 3 Days Later To The Summer
weather 75% of leaves dropped and turning yellow from the outside in. Is my plant dying? I have had my baby Meyer lemon tree for 2 summers now and this is its first time producing flowers and 2 lemons. I house my lemon tree at a nursery for the winter and keep it outside in full sun all summer. It has filled out and become a very full bush with proper pruning & fertilization. I tried to protect my lemon tree due to a tropical storm with 75 mph winds and had no choice to bring it inside for 3 days. I have no indoor sun and it was in a shaded room for three days. When I brought it back outside into the summer sun where it has been doing so great all summer I noticed over 75% of the leaves have dropped within a few days of bringing it back outside. The leaves that are left have been turning yellow from the inside of the leaf towards the outer leaf. However my two little green lemons are still holding on. I’m sickened by the leaf drop as I worked so hard to make this tree grow so great for the past 2 years. Can anyone tell me what is happening? If my lemon tree is dying? And how can I help it ? Thank you!

It is just stressed from the move, and stay for three days, indoors.
It will acclimate, though it may take a week or so before you notice a recovery.
This is normal behavior with drastic changes in climate and care.
