Root problems on Pear Tree

I had root problems through waterlogged ground on my pear doyenne du comice. I trimmed the rotting part out and replanted. This year it is still in bud and no leaves. Is it still too early for this pear to come into leaf or do you think there is a problem? I have checked one of the buds and the inside is nice and green.

Buds that are still green and moist inside are alive so I believe you are poised to get blossoms sometime in the near future. The flowering period is typically around May but that is not an absolute particularly when coming off a cold winter/spring. So hang tight!
