I Found a Dogwood Tree in the Woods by Mistake I Cut It Down

I was moving a dogwood tree and cut it by mistake even to the ground. There were two small trunk lines to it about 4′ tall. Will it still grow and be equal in time to the other?

Yes, they both should grow. Cut the smaller, less straight trunk within the next two years, to the ground. That way, before heavy branching occurs, the tree will have the opportunity to be balanced in growth and not lopsided. Also remove any ‘suckers’ that grow from the stumps.
