Q.I Don’t Have Ants In My Garden This Year. Can I Do Something To Help My Peonies Open?
I have had my peonies in my garden for 4 years. For some reason I don’t know, there are no ants on my peony bush this year and none in my little garden. Is there anything I can do to help the flowers open. There are many buds on the peonies and only one bud is part way open with the help of a wasp type bug. Is there anything else I can do?

Your peonies don't need ants to open. That is a common misperception. Ants are merely seeking nectar.
To ensure buds open each year, provide ample water, nutrition and sunlight. The rest is up to the peonies!
