Q.I Bought A Beautiful Banana Tree, Transplanted It And It’s Dying? Why

I live in east Texas and I have lots of plants, rose bushes etc. I bought a beautiful banana tree, transplanted it into full sun as per the instructions. I make sure not to overwater but it’s dying. What can I do?

Banana plants are sensitive to change and disturbing roots. Also, I would not transplant one into full sun without hardening off the plant, first. Here are some articles that will help:
