Q.I Am Wondering If I Killed My Raspberry Plants?

Zone 85933 | Anonymous added on June 25, 2021 | Answered

I put all purpose fertilizer 10-10-10 on my raspberry plants and now they look like they are all dying, one at a time. It started about 1 week after I fertilized, this spring. The leaves on one plant began to curl up and dry up. Pretty soon more bushes started. It is an established group of bushes and always done well. My raspberries are pretty small so I thought I would fertilize them and give them a boost. I hope they don’t all die.

That picture is not very visible. I cannot see the state of the plant. Likely, you have overfertilized the plant.

Be sure to test your soil before adding nutrients, so that you can be sure that it needs to be fed. This way, you can avoid overfeeding.
