Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am growing wisteria from cuttings. I read that after cutting I need to cover the pot with plastic wrap or a bag. My question is, do I need to make holes for air vents and won’t it get very hot inside and burn the cuttings? My nephew says since we live in California I should take the plastic off during the hottest part of the day.

I have read that you can punch a few holes in the plastic for ventilation and that you can even place your wisteria cutting in a lightly shaded sheltered location.
