I am growing my leaf lettuce hydroponically

I am growing my leaf lettuce hydroponically. The lettuce stock is very thin and the lettuce will not stand up. How can I get the stock to be more robust?

Sounds like they need more light. Are you growing indoors or outdoors? Indoors, I would increase the amount of light and move the lights closer. If it is outdoors, the area may be too shady.
