I am going to be solorizing my raised garden beds soon. Should I amend the soil before or after solorizing.

I have some prebagged planting mix and soil amendment. Having a problem with earwigs this past year. Any suggestions helpful. Live in central california zone 9

Since solarization kills all organisms, including beneficials, wait till after you have solarized to add the amendments.
