Q.Low Maintenance Grass

I am doing some landscaping in a small area of my backyard, planting flowers, etc. I want a walking path throughout planted in a grass that requires very little maintenance, such as little mowing, and not an invasive grass.

You might take a look at Centipede grass. That is slow growing and relatively maintenance free. But, it is a grass so will need mowing, just not as often as other grasses.

You may also want to look at walkable groundcovers. This article has more information on this:
