Can you use urea for a hydroponics fertilizer? I was thinking of growing a plant in the urea fertilizer doing hydroponics. Or do I have to mix urea with a hydroponics fertilizer to make it work? I want to see the effect of urea of the growth of a plant. Thanks.

I can't find good sources on using urea in hydroponic systems, so it may be a less common source of nitrogen for hdroponics. It is worth some experimentation though! Urea should work if you find the right concentration- in aquaponics, where fish are raised together with plants, urea from the fish waste is a main source of nitrogen for the plants:
