Q.Hydrangea Scale

Zone Rotherham | Philip5ew added on June 21, 2017 | Answered

We have 5 very large hydrangea plants and within the last two days they have become absolutely covered in what we believe is Hydrangea Scale. There are literally thousands of very small maggot shaped, pure white, almost powdery shapes all over the plants. Can you please tell us what we need to do to get rid of them. Our garden is also full of very mature plants. Is the Scale likely to spread? Many Thanks Philip
