Hydrangea – Leaves

I was given a beautiful hydrangea plant at a relative’s funeral in Michigan. I live in Florida and set the plant on my screened in porch. The plant is doing ok, but the leaves are losing their green color. What am I not doing right with this plant? Please help.

The plant sounds like it is lacking in nutrients. Give it a weak water based fertilizer once every two weeks.
