Hydrangea

Moved to south Mississippi last August. Existing flower beds included hydrangea that had what we determined to be fungus. We sprayed with fungicide. Problem never got better but they survived. I was going to cut them almost to ground in late winter/early spring as some resources recommend, but because of our mild winter, they have begun to bud along existing stems. Help!

Since it is not clear what type of fungus that you are dealing with it is difficult for me to help you determine a treatment method.

Since you treated with a fungicide, you should likely wait out the results and health of the plants during this growing season.
