Hydrangas

I’ve tried almost everything to get my hydrangas to bloom, they did bloom years ago. They haven’t bloomed for years. Some get shade some get sun. I use the acid fertilizer on them. Please help.

Do you know the nitrogen content of the fertilizer? They will not need much nitrogen when it is time for them to flower. If the feed you are using is too high in nitrogen, then it can keep it from flowering.

You can offset this by adding a phosphorus and potassium rich fertilizer. This will give it more of the nutrients that it will need to produce blooms.
