Hydrangea Only Has One Bloom Every Year

My hydrangea only has one big bloom every year and the other one only bloomed once and now doesn’t bloom. Both have nice foliage and look healthy. What can I do so they will bloom? I didn’t cut them back until they came back in the spring and then only the dead stalks. I feed them acidic fertilizer. I have one large blue flower on one, and the other never bloomed. The non-blooming one is under the maple tree. The one that bloomed is at the southeast corner of the house.
