Hibiscus Leaves

A friend of mine has a beautiful hibiscus, but the leaves continue to turn yellow and fall off, as do the buds. The plant is in a container. Our daily heat is around 95 degrees. What is causing this, and what can she do to prevent it?

They most likely need more water. In this weather, they should be watered daily if kept outside. If they are indoors though, they should only be watered when the soil is dry to the touch on top.
